Review: House of Night book1 House of Night Book 1 Marked (by P C. Cast and Kristine Cast)

After reading Book 4 Untamed, luckily the public library finally remembered to buy the first three books of the same series, so I hurried and borrowed the books. Here's my brief reviews:

Book 1 Marked

The story deals with the transformation of  a human teenage girl Zoey Redbird into a vampyre fledgling. Zoey had her troubles at home, and her human friends more or less thought she'd turned into a monster when she was Marked and started changing into a vampyre. Note: But when I was in the middle of writing these reviews, I learned that Japan was hit by earthquake and massive tsunami, I along with my coworkers managed to watch some of the footages of the disaster half an hour after the news started circulating on Internet, walls of water hitting the coasts destroying and slipping away everything on its path. *sighs* that's just terrifying.
